Mock Draft

Trying to pick a Mock Draft in February is always a fools errand. With Free Agency and Trade Season just around the corner, so much can change between now, and Draft Night at the end of April. However, we're going to give it a go. We're going to produce 3 Mock Drafts between now, and Draft Night. A Two Round Draft in February, a Two Round Draft in March and then, in April, we're going to have a go at a full 7 Rounder.

So, here goes, here's The Spreadlist 2025 Mock Draft 1.0 - Apologies for the formatting, there seems to be a problem with our setup!!

Pick

Team

Player

Position

Summary

1

Tennessee Titans

Travis Hunter (Colorado)

CB/WR

This pick assumes that the Titans pick up a QB in either Free Agency or, via trade. If so then, they'll be in  position to take the best player available which would be Colorado 'Two Way' Star, Travis Hunter.

2

Cleveland Browns

Abdul Carter (Penn State)

Edge

This is the same for the Browns.  If they can somehow manufacture a QB trade (Kirk Cousins?) and, if they lose Myles Garrett then, this pick will give them an immediate replacement.

3

New York Giants

Cam Ward (Miami)

QB

Cam Ward is probably the only QB in this Draft with a First Round Grade.  If the Giants fail to land a QB in Free Agency or via Trade then, this pick comes with just enough upside to make it viable.

4

New England Patriots

Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona)

WR

This Pick assumes that The Patriots spend enough of their vast amount of Cap Space on strenghtening their O Line.  If so then, this pick will give Drake Maye the true Wide Receiver 1 that he needs.

5

Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham (Michigan)

DL

The Jags need to strenghten their D-Line and, Mason Graham is a true Top 5 talent at this position.

6

Las Vegas Raiders

Shedeur Saunders (Colorado)

QB

This pick is a reach (Saunders struggles to make it into the Top 50 of many Big Boards).  It would probably make more sense for the Raiders to make a play for Aaron Rodgers.  However, it's unsure if Rodgers and Carroll could co-exist in the same locker room so, the chance to mould Saunders into the next Russell Wilson might be more to the HC's liking,

7

New York Jets

Jalon Walker (Georgia)

LB

Yes, The Jets now need a QB but, with Cam Ward gone, it may make more sense to go with the best player available.

8

Carolina Panthers

Kenneth Grant (Michigan)

DL

The Panthers need D-Line help and, with Mason Graham gone, the next best thing would be fellow Wolverine, Kenneth Grant

9

New Orleans Saints

Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)

DL

Walter Nolen's stock has risen recently and, with so many needs on both sides of the ball, he would immediately upgrade the Saints D-Line

10

Chicago Bears

Will Campbell (LSU)

OL

The Bears need to protect Caleb Williams and, in a loaded O-line class, this pick sees them getting the best player available.

11

San Francisco 49ers

Jahdae Barron (Texas)

CB

Jahdae Barron is defininitely a 49ers type of player.  This pick makes so much sense.

12

Dallas Cowboys

Ashton Jeanty (Boise State)

RB

The Cowboys need a Running Back.  They could either, wait until a later round and pick one of the many RB's available in this Draft or, they could pick the only RB with genuine top 5 talent.

13

Miami Dolphins

Malaki Starks (Georgia)

S

Malaki Stark is a Top 8 talent.  However, Safety is not usually regarded as a premium position which is why he drops to 13 in this Draft.  The Dolphins imediately become a better team with him on their roster.

14

Indianapolis Colts

Tyler Warren (Penn State)

TE

Tyler Warren has shot up Draft Boards this season after a great year wth Penn State.  The Colts need a Tight End and should race their Card in if Warren is still available.

15

Atlanta Falcons

James Pearce Jr (Tennessee)

Edge

The Falcons need Edge help big time.  There are plenty availbale this year but, after Abdul Carter, James Pearce Jr is the next best

16

Arizona Cardinals

Josh Simmons (Ohio State)

OL

If it wasn't for injury then, Josh Simmons would probably be going higher.  If he can prove his health then, the Cardinals can imediately upgrade their O-Line with this pick.

17

Cincinatti Bengals

Mike Green (Marshall)

Edge

Mike Green was relatively unheard of at the start of the season.  However, his stats for this year have gone through the roof and he's now right at the top of every scout's rankings.  The Bengals have been shocking on Defence, this pick should help change that

18

Seattle Seahawks

Kelvin Banks Jr (Texas)

OL

This will be the 3rd O-line picked in the first round.  Some scouts would have Kelvin Banks as the 1st.  A great pick for Seattle.

19

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Shemar Stewart (Texas A&M)

Edge

Tampa Bay needs Edge Rush help and Shemar Stewart is One of our Favourites. Definite 1st Round talent.

20

Denver Broncos

Luther Burden III (Missouri)

WR

Luther Burden started the season as a Top 10 talent. His Stock may have fallen after a quiet year but, the talent still remains. Bo Nix needs help, Burden will provide that.

21

Pittsburgh Steelers

Will Johnson (Michigan)

CB

Another Wolverine Defender in the 1st Round, Will Johnson will definitely improve the Steelers linebacker room.

22

LA Chargers

Coleston Loveland (Michigan)

TE

A bit of an obvious pick. The Chargers need Tight End help and, Jim Harbaugh loved Colston when he coached him at Michigan

23

Green Bay Packers

Emeka Egbuke (Ohio State)

WR

The Packers could do with another Receiver and Egbuka could prove a steal at Pick 23

24

Minnesota Vikings

Armand Membou (Missouri)

OL

Armand Membou's stock has risen greatly during the pre-draft process with some scouts giving him a Top 10 rating. If the VIkings could get him here then, it could prove a real bargain

25

Houston Texans

Derrick Harmon (Oregon)

DL

Derrick Harmon was the standout Defender in Oregon's standout Defence.  Houston need's D-Line help and, Harmon will provide that.

26

LA Rams

Grey Zabel (NDSU)

OL

The Rams need O-Line players.  Grey Zabel is the next One up.  He comes from a winning school and has the right mindset for the McVay Offence.

27

Baltimore Ravens

Matthew Golden (Texas)

WR

The Raven could always do with depth at the Receiver position and, whilst they could wait until later in the Draft, if Matthew Golden is available then, they should grab him.

28

Detroit Lions

Nic Scourton (Texas A&M)

Edge

The Lions probably need Edge help to play opposite Aiden Hutchinson.  Nic Scourton is a Lions type of player and should fit right in.

29

Washington Commanders

Josh Conerly Jr (Oregon)

OL

Washington's biggest asset is Jayden Daniels and, he needs protecting at all costs.  Adding Conerly to the O-Line will greatly help with this.

30

Buffalo Bills

Jihaad Campbell (Alabama)

LB

It's an unusual Draft when your not seeing an Alabama player until Number 30.  However, Jihaad Campbell should the first of a few Bama players to go around this range and, he'll give a much needed boost to The Bills linebacker Group

31

Kansas City Chiefs

Mykel Williams (Georgia)

Edge

The jury is split on Mykel Williams but, if any Team/Coaching Staff could get the best out of him then, it would be The Chiefs

32

Philadelphia Eagles

Shavon Revel (ECU)

CB

Shavon Revel is a first round talent.  However, his career has been derailed by injuries.  If there is one team that is in a position to 'take a punt' with him then, it would be The Eagles.  Has the potential to be another Draft 'Home Run Hit' for Philadelphia

Pick

Team

Player

Position

Summary

33

Cleveland Browns

Jalen Milroe (Alabama)

QB

This is a left field pick.  Our 1st pick for Cleveland assumed that they had somehow, traded for a veteran QB (a bridge).  In which case, they'd also need to be planning for the future and Milroe (with the right coaching) could be the Succession Plan.

34

New York Giants

Tyler Booker (Alabama)

OL

We've got the Giants Drafting a QB in Round 1. They need to protect him so, strengthening the O-Line would be a sensible thing to do.

35

Tennessee Titans

Donovan Ezeiruaku (BC)

Edge

Tennessee need help everywhere and, they have a chance to pick an Edge here with genuine first round talent

36

Jacksonville Jaguars

Aireontae Ersery (Minnesota)

OL

Ersery's stock has dropped after a quiet season.  He started the year in the Top 15 but, this pick sees him drop to the 2nd Round.  This should still be a good value pick for the Jaguars

37

Las Vegas Raiders

Omarion Hampton (UNC)

RB

The Raiders need a Running Back and, getting Omarion Hampton here would be real steal.  A Top 15 talent at pick 37.

38

New England Patriots

Darius Alexander (Toledo)

DL

The Patriots went Offence in the 1st round and now, need to strengthen their D-Line in the 2nd.

39

Chicago Bears

Princely Umanmielen (Ole Miss)

Edge

The Bears have 2 picks very close to eachother here so, this is a chance to pick the best player available and also, get much needed Edge help.

40

New Orleans Saints

Jack Bech (TCU)

WR

The Saints went D-Line in the 1st Round and now, they get a chance to add depth to their Receiver room with the excellent, Jack Bech

41

Chicago Bears

Donovan Jackson (Ohio State)

OL

We said it before, and we'll say it again, the Bears need to protect Caleb Williams.  Donovan Jackson adds much needed support to the O-line.

42

New York Jets

Dillon Gabriel (Oregon)

QB

Another 'Left field' pick.  We don't know what the Jets plan is at QB but, if injury-prone Tyrod Taylor is viewed as the 'Bridge QB' then, they'll need a succession plan.  In this scenario, the experienced Dillon Gabriel provides that.

43

San Francisco 49ers

Tyleik Williams (Ohio State)

DL

The 49ers need to strengthen the D-line and Tyleik Williams will imediately do this as well as provide the room with some much needed Youth.

44

Dallas Cowboys

Xavier Restreppo (Miami)

WR

The Cowboys need Receiver Help and, Xavier Restreppo in Round 2 would be a real bonus.  He has the potential to be the future WR1.

45

Indianapolis Colts

T.J.Sanders (South Carolina)

DL

The Colts have their Tight End so now, need to strengthen their Defence.  T.J. Sanders was a real standout performer in South Carolina's superior Defence this season

46

Atlanta Falcons

Trey Amos (Ole Miss)

CB

Atlanta's Defence needs shoring up and, Trey Amos will add some real depth to their Linebacker core.  Some Scouts have given him a 1st Round Grade so, pick 46 is a steal.

47

Arizona Cardinals

Jack Sawyer (Ohio State)

Edge

Of the many Edges in this class, Jack Sawyer is a real favourite here.  He was thought by many to be a potential first rounder so, if the Cardinals can get him at 47 then, this is a real bargain.

48

Miami Dolphins

Shemar Turner (Texas A&M)

DL

Texas A&M may have been a let down again this season but, their defence was always feisty.  Shemar Stewart was a standout on the D-Line and will upgrade The Dolphins Defensive Core.

49

Cincinatti Bengals

Demetrius Knight Jr (South Carolina)

CB

Another excellent player from the exceptional South Carolina Defence.  The Bengals Defence needs all the help it can get and, Knight will provide this.

50

Seattle Seahawks

JT Tuimoloua (Ohio State)

Edge

Yet another Edge Rusher.  Seattle would be delighted if National Champion, JT Tulmoloua 'falls into their lap' at pick 50.

51

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame)

CB

If Benjamin Morrison wasn't injured this season then, he's probably be a 1st Rounder. If he can prove his health then, Tampa will get a Top CB.

53

Denver Broncos

Carson Schwesinger (UCLA)

CB

Carson Schwesinger has impressed during the Pre-Draft Process and has flown up many Draft Boards. He would add depth to an already very good, Broncos Defence.

53

Pittsburgh Steelers

Elic Ayomanor (Stanford)

WR

The Steelers don't have much depth at Receiver so, the Stanford standout should be the ideal pick for them here.

54

LA Chargers

Dylan Sampson (Tennessee)

RB

The Chargers need Running Back Depth and, Dylan Sampson (who terrorised SEC Defences), would fit straight in to a Harbaugh Offence

55

Green Bay Packers

Alfred Collins (Texas)

DL

The Packers went Offence in Round 1 so, this is an opportunity to strengthen the Defence. The Texas Defence was amongst the best in College this season and Collins was central to everything they did.

56

Buffalo Bills

Omarr Norman-Lott (Tennessee)

DL

Norman-Lott has the potential to go a bit higher after impressing at Tennessee. Buffalo will have done well to get him at 56.

57

Houston Texans

Jayden Higgins (Iowa State)

WR

CJ Stroud needs more weapons, they rely too heavily on Nico Collins.  Drafting the excellent Jayden Higgins would give Stroud more options.

58

Carolina Panthers

Xavier Watts (Notre Dame)

S

Carolina Panthers need Defensive help and, this is an opportunity to pick the best player available.  Watts is much higher on most Draft Boards so, to get him at 58 would be a real bonus.

59

Baltimore Ravens

Cam Skattebo (Arizona)

RB

Derrick Henry is obviously the Ravens no 1 RB. However, this is the opportunity to get him some genuine back-up help whilst also, drafting their RB of the future.  Skattebo would make Baltimore's Offence even more dangerous

60

Detroit Lions

Ozzy Trapillo (BC)

OL

The Lions could do with more O-Line players and, in Ozzy Trapillo, they'd get the best one available at this stage of the draft.

61

Washington Commanders

Landon Jackson (Arkansas)

Edge

With most of the best O-line players off the board, Washington can now turn to Defence.  Landon Jackson is an excellent option at Edge.

62

Buffalo Bills

Isiah Bond (Texas)

WR

The Bills drafted a WR early last year but, could probably still do with more options at the position.  Isiah Bond would fit in perfectly at WR2 or 3 with the upside of one day, becoming WR1

63

Kansas City Chiefs

TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State)

RB

The Chiefs need Running Backs, Pacheco is not really the long term option.  National Champion, TreVeyon Henderson is a real steal at Pick 63.

64

Philadelphia Eagles

Jordan Burch (Oregon)

Edge

Once again, the Eagles are in the fortunate position of picking the best player available.  In this case, it would be the Oregon Edge, Jordan Burch.  A pick that would make their Defence even better.
